		Supported Employment allows hundreds of people with Developmental Disabilities to find productive work in the community. Their employers are businesses just like yours that realize the benefits of diversity in the workplace, and see people with disabilities as an untapped resource.

Founded in 1965 as a nonprofit organization, Contra Costa ARC (Association for Retarded Citizens) is the largest employer of people with Developmental Disabilities in Contra Costa County.

We have our main office in Martinez, production centers in Richmond, Concord, and Antioch, and training centers in Richmond and Concord. A site for children at risk, a resource center for families of children with special needs, and thrift stores in Concord and El Cerrito complete the list of facilities.

Our Supported Employment Program is administered regionally at each of our three Commercial Support Services production centers.
