The Transition Resource Center has been established to support families of children age 14 and up in planning for the transition years.  Parents are invited to browse through the materials and request copies to take home. The Transition Resource Center has information on Supplemental Security Income, IDEA transition requirements, supported employment, and vocational training, as well as planning guides for parents and students.  Brochures from Contra Costa County programs for adults are also available.
