ARC Inroads is a new, innovative program offering 100% community-based services. The driving philosophy is: self determination.
Services are provided in groups of 3 individuals with compatible
interests and goals. These individuals determine the activities and services.
Services are 100% in the community.
The scope of activities and experiences is determined by the interests and goals of the participants.
Learning experiences may include: Self-Advocacy
Job Exploration Job Training Paid Employment Mobility Training Education Social Skills Training Recreational Activities
People with developmental disabilities, age 18 or older, who want a
variety of self-directed, fully community-based activities.
The support and encouragement of family, friends and significant
others will help assure success.
Arc Inroads is currently operating in the Antioch area, with plans to expand into Central and West Contra Costa County.
